1. Free movement of persons: Ghana benefits from free movement of persons,goods and services to member countries.

2. Assistance in time's of trouble: Ghana gets help whenever she is in serious crisis.

3. Advice from expert: Ghana gets advice from expert based on how we can boost the economy.

4. Ghana gets aid for political development: the International organizations give assistance for political development.

NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF CO-OPERATION 
1. Destruction of indigenous culture: because of foreign culture we have lost our identity.
2. It causes the spread of diseases like IDS/HIV.
3. It will make some developing countries rely heavily on developed countries.
4. Trade liberalization: That is it has made our country a dumping place for inferior goods.
