THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE UNO


The General Assembly: the general Assembly is the largest organ of the UNO.
It is made up of all member States of the UNO.
It meets every year in September or emergency special session if required.

 FUNCTIONS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY 
1. It discuss all matters within the scope of the charter as regarding the functions of the organ
2. It is responsible for the expulsion or suspension of any member States from the Organization.
3. It appoints judges to the international Court of Justice.
4. It elects the - non permanent members of the security council.
5. It considers and approves the budget of the UNO.
