A descriptive composition is the type of composition that describes a person, an object, a place , a process or an activity.
A description is a word picture that helps the reader to form a mental image of the subject. That is, the aim of this type of writing is to share with the reader what the writer has heard, seen, smelled , tasted and felt. This means that when you are describing someone, you will attempt to write what you have seen , heard smelled , tasted and felt about him.
