SHATTA WALE'S NEW WATCH

Michy:You have a wrist watch.Where did you get it from?
Shatta wale:My father gave it to me yesterday as my birthday present.
Michy:Thanks to your father.He loves you.
Shatta wale:Yes he does.
Kidi:What is the time now?
Shatta wale:It is nine minutes past ten(10:09).
Michy:Ei! so you can tell the time.
Shatta wale:Yes my father has taught me how to tell the time.He said the three hands you see on the watch are the hour hand,minute hand and the second hand.He points to them one after the other.
Kidi:So what does the hour hand do?
Shatta wale:It tells the hour.
Michy:So the minutes hand also tells the minutes of the time and so the second hand ,so tells the seconds.
Shatta wale:You are right michy.The three hands make telling the time very easy.
Kidi:Now I know .so the short hand is the hour hand ,the long hand is the minute hand and the thin hand is the second hand.
Shatta wale:You are also right ,Kidi.The short broken lines show the minutes on the watch .The numbers also show the hours.
Kidi:So how many minutes make one hour ?
Shatta wale:My father taught me that 60 minutes make one hour and 60 seconds make one minute .
Michy:So after every 60 seconds, one minute is gained and every 60 minutes give us one hour.
