ELECTRONICS BS 6

Electronics deals with the use of components to control the flow of electricity through gas, liquid and conductors.

WHAT IS A CONDUCTOR?
A conductor is a material that allows easy flow of heat and electricity through it.
EXAMPLES OF A CONDUCTOR
1. Metallic materials like spoon, nails, pins sauce pan and others.
2. Salt solution
3. Human body

INSULATOR
Insulators are materials which do not allow heat and electricity to flow through them.
EXAMPLES OF AN INSULATOR
1.Wood
2.Plastic
3.Fabrics
4.Glass
5.Rubber
6. Paper

SEMI-CONDUCTOR
A semi-conductor is a material which behaves like a conductor and an insulator.

EXAMPLES OF A SEMI-CONDUCTOR
1.Silicon
2. Germanium
