Time is measured in seconds,minutes and hours to tell events that occur. Time can be told by using a stop watch or clock.Time is recorded to note some events which happen. It could be in the day,from morning to event.
On the face of the clock is numbered 1 to 12. We have 3 hands on the clock;.
1.hour hand
2.minute hand
3.second hand
TELLING THE TIME BY THE HOUR
To tell the time by hour,always make sure that the short hand must be on a number and the long hand must be on 12.If the short hand is on a number and the long hand is not on 12,you can't tell the time by hour.
Example:

The time is 8 o'clock
2.
The time is 3 o'clock
