TEACHINGS IN THE TRADITIONAL RELIGION
Traditional religion extracted certain teachings from conversation, wise sayings, stories and proverbs .Some of these teachings are :
1. Love: To love someone means to care for the fellow and see to the wellbeing of such person and make sure that the needs of that person is met.
2. Righteousness: To be righteous means to live a holy ,pure, faithful and honest life. In this regard, children are taught to say the truth always.
3. Justice: In the teachings of Akhenaten (father of monotheism in Egypt) said men should be just to each other. He said,all men were created equally therefore there's the need to treat them equally.
OTHER PROVERBS AND WISE SAYINGS
- Unity is strength
- Good name is better than riches
- Had I known is always at Last
- Patience moves mountains
- Two heads are better than one.
