Heat is a form of energy,which can cause change in some materials.When two bodies are in contact,heat anergy is transferred from the hotter body to the colder body until the two obtain the same temperature.
WHAT IS HEAT?
Heat can be defined as the energy that is transferred from one point to another owing temperature difference between the two points.Heat is also a form of energy that causes a rise in temperature of bodies.That is when two are placed contact,the bodies attain the same temperature.When substances are heated,they gain energy and their particles move faster and temperature increases.Since heat is a form of energy,it is measured in JOULES (j)sources of Heat
The main sources of heat are; sun, fire, friction, biomass, fossil fuels , chemical reaction etc.
