IMPORTANCE OF TRUE REPENTANCE
- It reconciles us back to God and friends.
- God forgives us our sins when we genuinely repent.
- It brings blessings.
- It brings peace and unity.
- It saves us from eternal destruction.
- It leads to gaining trust and confidence from the society and friends.
REASONS FOR SHOWING REGRET FOR ONE'S WRONG DEEDS
1. It shows that one is sorry for the wrong deed.2. It shows that one is willing to repent from his or her wrong deeds.
3. It creates the opportunity for one to be forgiven of his or her wrong deeds.
