MULTIPLYING DECIMAL FRACTION BY POWERS OF TEN B S4 AND


 Example,Decimal number :  0.1453
Multiply by 10= 1.453

Multiply by 100= 14.53

Multiply by 1000= 145.3

NOTE; when multiplying by ten(10) , move the decimal point one place to right.


  • When multiplying hundred (10), move the decimal point ,two place to the right.

  • When multiplying by thousand(1000) , move the decimal point, three places to the right.
