WRITE MULTIPLICATION SENTENCE FOR THESE PICTURE ARRAY OF OBJECTS

This is a method of multiplying objects with respect to how they have been arranged. Thus been arranged in row(horizontal l) and column(vertical).

DIAGRAM OF AN ARRAY OF OBJECTS 

The line showing downwards indicates the column(vertical) and the line showing to the right also indicates the row(column).

METHOD OF MULTIPLYING ARRAY OF OBJECTS 

1. Count the number of columns present in the array.
2. Count the number of rows present in the array.
3. Multiply the column by the row

EXAMPLE
1. Find the multiplication of the array of objects below.

Row=3
Column=4
Row  ×  Column
    3    ×   4 = 12

2.  Find the multiplication of the array of objects below.

Row= 4
Column= 5
Row   × Column
    4 × 5=20
