WAYS OF COMMUNICATING WITH OTHER BS 3

 INTRODUCTION

There are different ways in which we can communicate . These known as the forms of communication . They are;

  VERBAL COMMUNICATION

verbal communication means
communicating by using words . conversation, teaching etc .are all types of verbal communication.

The teacher is teaching class one pupils . This means he is communicating to the class by using words. Teaching is a form of verbal communication

 USES OF VERBAL COMMUNICATION

1. It is used for teaching .
2. It is used for singing
3. It is used for preaching.
 sermons in church and mosque.
4. It is used for conversing

  WRITTEN COMMUNICATION

Written communication is a form of communication  in the form of writing. Examples are letters,class exercises, homework, newspapers, posters, signs etc.

POSTERS

Posters are used for announcements, directions, adverts etc

SIGNS 

signs communicate to us in a number of ways . Examples are road signs , traffic lights ,sign board etc.

  USES OF WRITTEN COMMUNICATION

1.  For announcement.
2. For showing direction.
3. For making adverts.

 BODY LANGUAGE OR GESTURES.

Body language is sign made by people to show what they feel or want without talking . A happy person may smile to show that he or she is happy. A person who is sad may also show by crying.we also nod our head vertically to show to show our agreement to something. We show our  disagreement by nodding horizontally.

 USES OF BODY LANGUAGE

1.  It is used to communicate.

2. It is used to express our feelings.
