INTRODUCTION
Living things can be grouped into two main kinds. These are plants and animals. Plants and animals have life in them. They need air, water and food to stay alive. Plants and animals move by themselves. Plants and animals produce young ones of their kind. Plants and animals also grow .

PLANTS
Plants are living things. They grow and produce young ones of their kinds.plants generally are rooted in one place and do not move on their own.plants also  need water,air and food to stay alive. Plants mostly need sunlight to grow well. Plants also may be big or small,tall or short.

Examples of plants are:

1. Maize plants
 2. Pawpaw plants.
3. Cocoa plant.

4. Onion plant..

5. Coconut plant.


USES OF PLANTS
Plants are used for several things or in our daily lives. Some of the uses of plants are:

1. We use plants as food.

2. We use plants for medicinal purposes.

3. We use plants to make rubber and plastic objects.

4. We use  plants  to make clothes.

5. We use plants to make furniture.
